Data Analyst

Global Sales Strategy & Operations (GSSO) is the team that helps shape Gartner's mission-critical sales priorities and works with sales leaders to drive tactical and analytical insights. As an associate on the GSSO team, you'll be at the forefront of the ongoing transformation of Gartner's sales force, which delivers approximately $4.9B in annual revenue and working to drive sustained double-digit growth. You will partner with business leaders across Gartner to support a global sales force comprised of more than 5,000 associates who sell to every major function, industry and market sector around the world.

1. Identify and analyze manual, repetitive processes within marketing operations and propose automation solutions.
2. Design, develop, and maintain custom tools and applications using Java, VBA, Excel, Google Apps Script, and Python.
3. Automate workflows and integrate data across MS Office and Google Workspace platforms.
4. Collaborate with marketing teams to understand project requirements and deliver automation solutions tailored to marketing processes.
5. Implement, test, and document automation solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability.
6. Stay updated with marketing automation trends and best practices.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing automation tools and scripts.

1. 1-2 years of hands-on experience in process automation and application development.
2. Proficiency in Java, VBA (Excel/Access), Python, Google Apps Script, and advanced Excel.
3. Experience automating workflows in MS Office and Google Workspace environments.
4. Strong understanding of marketing automation concepts, platforms (e.g., Eloqua and Salesforce + to have), and terminology.
5. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
6. Experience working on marketing automation projects.
7. Familiarity with APIs and data integration between marketing platforms.
8. Knowledge of database management and data visualization tools.
