Application Engineer

1. Provide Applications Engineering support such as system / pump station design, schematic and hydraulic calculations to
2. channel partners, distributors and end users.
3. Review tenders, specifications, and engineering drawings, identifying risks, deviations, and optimization opportunities.
4. Selects appropriate equipment / materials to meet customer needs and to develop project costing and pricing.
5. Generates customer proposals utilizing standard tools, seeks and gains appropriate approval levels.
6. Administers and review submittal documents that have been prepared for customers and/or tenders.
7. Collaborate with other technical and engineering groups to provide the required customer solution.
8. Provide timely responses to inquiries.
9. Builds and nurtures relationships with key stakeholders within all of Xylem’s commercial teams.

1. Knowledge of pump hydraulics, mechanics and construction.
2. Knowledge of Motors, Drives and monitoring and control equipment.
3. Familiarity with international standards, codes, and compliance frameworks.
4. Ability to engage and communicate effectively in customer-facing settings.
